Court was finally in session on Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 23, as Mona’s murder trial kicked off and Alison realized the potential danger she was actually in.
It was Jason, however, who faced the music last night. His dalliance with Hanna’s mother became an issue of public record, courtesy of A tipping off the prosecution.
So now the jury believed Jason only took back his initial statement about the killer resembling Alison at the request of his older lover (even though, as viewers are quite aware, she isn’t exactly a fan of Ali’s).
Could there still be hope for Alison, however? Considering the girls found a note in Mona’s room that read “Chandelier’s rituals. Sister launched lair. A ruler’s list chained?”
For the record, each line of that note is an anagram for Charles DiLaurentis. Also for the record:
What was Andrew doing outside Mona’s house while the Liars were inside? Did he girl that screwdriver through the window to make it look as if the girls broke into the house?
Elsewhere, it remains unclear how the trial will affect Ashley and Ted’s engagement. The former was the one who actually wanted to call it off, though Ted refused to break his promise.
And speaking of Andrew (remember before, when we spoke of Andrew?), he came face-to-face with Aria for the first time since they swapped spit awhile back.
Instead of discussing this game of tonsil hockey, however, Andrew told Aria he’s sick of the entire school “memorializing Mona,” adding how she was quite “vicious” and implying everyone is better off without her.
He tried to explain himself later on, but our Creep Alert is turned up way high.
What is up with this guy?!? And what did you think of Ali’s trial? Will she be found guilty?
Sit back and watch Pretty Little Liars online if you need to catch up and then tune in next Tuesday for Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 24.
It will be titled "I’m a Good Girl, I Am."
