You are a very lucky young woman, Emma Watson.
No, the former Harry Potter star is NOT dating Prince Harry.
But she will have a couple very handsome faces to stare at on the set of Beauty and the Beast later this year.
A few weeks after exciting news broke that Watson will portray Belle in a live-action, musical (!!!!!) version of this Disney classic, producers have revealed the identity of her two main male co-stars.
- Dan Stevens will play the titular Beast.
- Luke Evans will play Gaston.
"Could not be more happy that this man will be Beast!!! Welcome aboard @thatdanstevens #beautyandthebeast” Watson Tweeted in response to the first announcement, later following it up, in regard to Evans, with:
"Bonjour Gaston! Welcome!"
We’ve also heard that Emma Thompson may come on board as Mrs. Potts, but that is a mere rumor at this point.
No release date has been confirmed yet for Beauty and the Beast, but expect it to start shooting this year and to hit theaters some time in 2016.
