Inching getting closer to living life as a woman, Bruce Jenner is gearing up to reveal his new, female name to ABC’s Diane Sawyer, a new report indicates.
The Jenner-Kardashian patriarch and former Olympic champion reportdly shared the name he plans to use after his transition in his recently taped interview.
While the name is not publicly known, “He referred to her in the third person,” said a source, who added that Jenner did not wear feminine makeup or clothing.
He’s also drumming up names for the upcoming Bruce Jenner sex change reality show on E!, which has yet to "decide how many episodes” it will be.
Jenner has also reportedly decided to delay his public transition until the dust has settled in the wake of last Saturday’s car crash, which killed Kim Howe, 69.
Says a source close to the first family of reality TV:
“[He] is giving all his time and energy right now into helping out with the investigation and in making sure that there is peace for those close to the deceased."
Bruce has been cooperating with authorities in their thorough investigation, which includes seeking phone records to see if he was texting and driving.
The black box from Jenner’s Cadillac Escalade will also be examined to determine what happened in the four-car pile-up that took Howe’s life in Malibu, Calif.
Bruce was uninjured physically, but devastated.
“Everybody feels for him,” an insider said of the 65-year-old Jenner. “He’s been fighting a private battle and has come so far. Now he’s really shaken up.”
