There are so very many reasons to avoid a Chris Brown concert like the plague.

For one thing, you might die. Five fans were shot at one of Brown’s concerts last month, continuing the disturbing trend of violence that’s been following Breezy’s current tour.

Gunplay aside, you might hold off on buying tickets due to that fact Brown is on probation, and the fact that he continually fails to meet the requirements of his sentence means that his travel schedule is always in doubt, and shows are frequently postponed.

For those reasons, and probably many, many more (the fact that Brown is a violent psychopath, for example) fans are keeping their distance from the troubled R&B star, and it’s beginning to result in canceled tour dates.

Brown is reportedly canceled his upcoming concert in Minneapolis due to extremely low ticket sales.

The 20,000 seat venue where he was scheduled to perform is said to have sold only 3,500 tickets, with the show just days away.

If you’re doing the math at home, that’s 17% of the available seats. That’s also a huge embarrassment for Brown, particularly since popular acts Trey Songz and Tyga are also headlining the tour.

Granted, the people of Minneapolis don’t exactly fit into the target demo for a Chris, Trey, and Tyga concert. (Read: They’re whiter than the blanket of snow that covers the city year-round.)

But even so, such absurdly low ticket sales couldn’t be a sign for the rest of Chris’ tour…and maybe even the future of his career.
