Things continue to get worse for rap-mogul-turned-inmate, Suge Knight.
Knight was charged with murder yesterday as the result of a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of Knight’s acquaintance Terry Carter.
Knight’s bail was revoked after officials expressed concerns about the possibility that the notoriously violent record label CEO would flee or attempt to intimidate witnesses. As a result, he is being held in custody as he awaits trial.
Knight’s first hearing was held today, and TMZ is reporting that after pleading not guilty to all charges, he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
The exact nature of his condition is unknown, but it believed that Knight suffered a crippling panic attack.
Court officials reportedly called 9-11, and an ambulance was sent for Knight. This is the second time that Knight has been taken to the hospital while in police custody.
Knight passed out in a jail cell last November as the result of a blood clot.
Of course, in addition to his current legal woes, Knight is suffering from a number of serious health concerns.
Knight was shot six times in August, at a party hosted by troubled R&B singer Chris Brown.
The 49-year-old hip hop legend claims his frail health had caused him to flee an altercation on January 30 which resulted in him striking and killing Brown.
