Kate Middleton is a naturally gorgeous woman. No one can argue this, regardless of what you think of the royal family or the attention they receive.

But apparently an Australian tabloid felt that the Duchess’ appearance could be improved by making her look a bit like something from The Walking Dead.

Seriously. This is full-on ridiculous …

Yes, that’s the regular, effervescent Kate Middleton on the right and "Terrifying Zombie Kate Middleton" covering Woman’s Day on the left.

We know things are different Down Under, but apparently the Aussies aren’t clear on the fact that Photoshop is generally used to make celebs appear more attractive.

You know, not like something that emerges from under a bridge and asks you riddles. Just FYI you guys. The royal couple is no stranger to retouching, of course.

Famously, Prince William’s bald head was photoshopped for the cover of Vanity Fair just a few months ago now, but this is decidedly different.

Kate is on vacation in Mustique at the moment, so it’s possible that she hasn’t even seen this pic, and hopefully her staff has been instructed to keep it from her.

One can only hope, honestly.

In other Duchess news, Kate will be living with her parents in Bucklebury for the remainder of her pregnancy once she and Will return from their current trip.

She’ll also be taking Prince George with her for the duration, in line with her recent mission to keep royal family members away from her kids.

Nothing to help a chap re-grow some hair like three months of shooting pheasants and sipping Earl Grey, or whatever Will does in his free time.
