Shannen Doherty does not watch True Tori online.
Yes, the actress has seen bits and pieces of her former colleague’s reality show, but Doherty told Meredith Vieira during an appearance on her talk show this week that she’s “uncomfortable” viewing the program.
"Putting it out there must be cathartic for her," Doherty said of Spelling’s penchant for documenting her personal issues on TV. "It’s her way of dealing with it, maybe that’s her form of therapy."
Spelling has been married to actor Dean McDermott since 2006 and the couple shares four children, but McDermott has admitted to acts of infidelity and considers himself a sex addict.
He is supposedly qutting the series, but Spelling says True Tori will go on.
"My heart breaks a little bit for her," Doherty says of her former co-star. "I only wish Tori well and a happy life and happy marriage. She’s got beautiful children."
Doherty is also quick to withhold any real judgment. She’s been through the ringer plenty herself over the years.
"Who are we to judge anybody’s life and what they’re going through sand how they handle it?" she asked Vieira. "We all stumble and we all make mistakes and we all have our own process."
