Well, it looks like we’re back to talking about problems between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
Last week, it seemed all was well. Depp and Heard attended a press event together, and she didn’t seem the least bit embarrassed to be seen with him, even though he was dressed like a toddler trying to disguise himself as an adult.
Last night, however, Depp rolled solo to a premiere event for his new movie Mortdecai, and many are wondering if he and Heard have finally parted ways.
Sure, Amber’s absence may have had something to do with the fact that early reviews of Mortdecai basically call it a quirky pile of mustachioed dung.
It’s possible she just couldn’t bring herself to sit through it again after attending the London premiere, and we really wouldn’t blame her.
Based on a recent interview response, however, we’re guessing Amber’s reasons for distancing herself have more to do with Depp’s booze-addled brain.
When asked by a reporter this week if he did anything to celebrate the one-year anniversary of his engagement to Heard, Depp paused for a moment before responding, "I don’t know."
Granted, one year of being engaged is kind of a lame anniversary, but even so, "I don’t know" is an astonishingly weak response. When you get engaged to a guy with the world’s largest silk scarf collection you probably expect to have a little sensitivity, ya know?
