Gwyneth Paltrow has never been one to bury the details of her private life (the actress operates a website that instructs subscribers on how to live more like her, for God’s sake), but while making the press rounds to promote her upcoming film Mortdecai this week, the actress and conscious uncoupler has been more candid than ever.
Yesterday, Paltrow talked BJs and Brad Pitt with Howard Stern, and last night Ms. Goop opened up about her past drug use while chatting with Andy Cohen:
During Cohen’s Plead the Fifth segment, Paltrow confessed to using Ecstasy, and knowing Gwinnie, we imagine it was an artisanal, fair trade blend found only at exclusive raves that take place high in the Swiss Alps.
We’ve gotta admit: We like this new warts-and-all Paltrow.
Her newfound self-deprecating sense of humor still doesn’t make up for Gwyneth claiming that she’s "self-made" with a straight face, but we’re getting to the point where we can watch one of her movies without groaning audibly every time she comes on screen.
Although we may have just jinxed it. There’s no way this can last. Don’t be surprised if Goopy goes off about how much she hates poor people some time in the next hour or so.
