The Critics’ Choice Awards, often considered something of afterthought compared to the Oscars, Golden Globes and SAG Awards, were held last night.
By holding this event the same day of the 2015 Academy Awards nominations, and right after the 2015 Golden Globes, however, all eyes were on the Critics.
From the notable 2015 Oscar snubs to the other hot film topics on everyone’s minds this awards season, it was a great way to keep various narratives going.
Michael Keaton and Julianne Moore kept their win streaks alive, while Boyhood continued to make its case for Best Picture at the big event February 22.
