After some harrowing experiences over the summer (including one hospitalization) Scott Disick is sober.
Sources close to the reality star and self-proclaimed “Lord” say that his family is determined to keep him that way, even if it means putting him under 24 hour surveillance.
“Kourtney is not letting Scott out of her sight right now,” an insider tells Radar Online. “Her family is all coming over non-stop to see the new baby.”
Kourtney gave birth to Reign Aston Disick just last month, so the family is reportedly more concerned than ever with the round-the-clock task of keeping Scott busy.
“Kourtney’s family cares way too much about Scott to let him fall like he does when he’s not supervised by all of them,” says the source.
Despite rumors that Scott planned to get “wasted” on New Year’s Eve, the insider says the father of three has been booze-free ever since his new son came into the world:
“Scott has stepped up to the plate as a father, husband, and family member. The fact that [Kourtney] and Scott are doing so well right now is because he is sober.”
“With all of the stress that these past couple weeks have brought him, with her giving birth and New Year’s and all, she does not want him to go and screw it all up by going on a bender.”
So between Reign and Scott, it sounds like Kourtney has a lot on her plate these days. Hopefully, only one of them will turn to the bottle soon.
