Yes, following widespread rumors about Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick quitting reality TV, a rep for the couple has confirmed that they will be renewing their contract with E!, and they have no plans of returning to private life any time soon.
Frankly, we couldn’t be happier. The newly released Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 10 preview reminds of just how essential Scott and Kourtney (but especially Scott) are to the show’s success.
You really can’t even script dialogue like, “Open your legs wide like you’re at the gynecologist and I’m gonna come in like a lawnmower.”
Kourtney and Scott’s rep didn’t go into any detail with regard to how long the couple will continue to have their lives documented for our amusement, but did say that they will “continue to appear on the show” for the foreseeable future.
It’s a big deal for the show – which has experienced uneven ratings over the years – as Scott and Kourtney continue to bring the drama in a major way.
The first photo of Reign Aston Disick was a tease (we only saw the kid’s hand), so viewers are likely to tune in just to see what the newest wildly wealthy Kardashian tyke looks like.
And of course, there’s still the matter of Scott’s alcoholism, which we pay attention to purely out of concern for the guy’s safety, and not at all because he’s an entertaining drunk.
