Daniel Grayson was laid to rest on Revenge Season 4 Episode 11, which was sort of ironic:
Because no other characters on the 2015 premiere of this ABC drama did much resting at all, not when there was scheming, plotting and maneuvering to be done.
First, Emily shouldered the blame for Daniel’s passing, which has Margaux desperate to see the heroine pay for supposedly committing the crime. She told Emily that she knows she’s lying, that she played a game with the police in claiming self-defense and:
"I’m going to make it my life’s journey to see you pay for what you’ve done, and that journey begins now."
Meanwhile, Jack was feeling rather guilty over the death of Kate Taylor, a development made all the more intriguing by the fact that Malcolm Black is now in The Hamptons.
Considering he shanked someone within his first two minutes on screen, it may take more than an apology from Jack to make amends with this new villain (played by former Sons of Anarchy star Tommy Flanagan).
Elsewhere, Louise is spending a few weeks at Nolan’s place as a sign of her budding friendship. And it’s awesome!
She’s baking things while on Xanax. She’s acting like an amateur spy. She’s using Daniel’s death as an excuse to bond with Victoria.
You really must sit back and watch Revenge online just to see Crazy Pants in action. How did the series survive for so long without Louise around?
So, what did you think of the Revenge return, THGers? Is Malcolm as frightening as you thought he would be? Are you concerned that Jack may soon join Daniel six feet under? Or do you want to see Malcom take his revenge against Jack?
Which aspect of Daniel’s goodbye made you saddest? And can you believe he’s really, truly, actually dead?!?
