The best prank videos usually involve en element of cruelty.
After all, you can’t have a prank without a victim, and sometimes that victim breaks into hysterical tears, as we learned from yesterday’s pregnant turkey prank.
YouTube comic and father of two Roman Atwood might have taken things a step too far with his latest video, however, and we wouldn’t be shocked if his "little joke" results in some divorce papers:
Please don’t read any further until you watch the clip, because you really need to see how masterfully the stunt is pulled off (and how justifiably pissed Mrs. Atwood is) in order to understand why some folks think this dad crossed the line.

"Any parents worst fear is something happening to their child. You out your wife through a dangerous amount of stress for views. Not cool."
"What a piece of sh-t. He doesn’t think it would be the most terrifying moment in a mother’s life to think their child might be dead? He has no empathy."
"Sick f-ck. Why would you do this to your own wife?"
Of course, the clip has received over 6 million views in less than a week, and what’s a little coronary event when compared to going mega-viral?
Plus, as many viewers pointed out, the giant house that Roman appears to live in was seemingly paid for by YouTube uploads, so we’re sure his wife was pretty quick to forgive.
Our stance? The hilarity might just outweigh the cruelty in this case. Besides, it’s certainly not as bad as the parents who told their kid he has Ebola.
