Aside from the Hayden Panettiere nude photos that leaked in September as part of The Fappening, this young blonde actress has remained mostly out of the spotlight over the past few months.
That’s mostly because Panettiere is pregnant with her first child, as she and fiance Wladimir Klitschko are expecting a girl in the very near future.
But in a new interview with Hello! magazine, the 25-year old opens up about her excitement over her impending arrival.
“I’m so ready to hold my baby girl – I’m going to be a very hands on mom,” Panettiere tells the publication. “I’m thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too.”
To Panettiere’s credit, she also talks with the publication about the weight gain she’s experienced since over the last trimester or so.
“I’m 5 feet, 2 inches and I started out at 106 pounds and guess how much I weight now? Around 145 pounds,” she says. “And the worst part is that my feet are still size five and they’re going, ‘What’s going on with all this weight?’ They’re about to snap from underneath me with the strain.”
Panettiere and Klitschko (who the former describes as a “calm, resilient guy”) have not yet announced a wedding date.
But the Nashville star makes something very clear:
“I’ll tell you one thing for sure: I am not walking down the aisle 40 pounds heavier than usual in a wedding dress with a huge pregnancy belly stitched in. Not happening.”
