Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams made their debuts on The Voice Season 7 premiere Monday night, joining Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on the panel.
Pharrell and Gwen take over for Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera in those swiveling spaceship chairs that have made the NBC competition a huge hit.
The question is: Would you turn your chair for these two new judges?
The Voice has enjoyed a changing roster of judges since its 2011 beginnings, with Shakira and Usher joining Adam and Blake for Seasons 4 and 6.
This fall has a new lineup, though, and it seems like another success.
Stefani and Pharrell, beyond their infectious hit songs, come across about as likable as popular musicians get, and last night’s show was no exception.
Did it seem like they were born to judge The Voice, or was it just us?
With no offense meant to Christina or Cee Lo (or Usher or Shakira for that matter), the fresh, new attitude they brought to the show was hard not to love.
Both claimed their share of the contestants on night one, so they look more than capable of holding their own from a talent-luring perspective as well.
