They were the wedding bells heard ’round the world, even if few were prepared for them to chime.

And now People Magazine has your first look at the wedding dress that will soon be copied by millions around the world.

Yes, fresh off her nuptials to Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie graces the cover of this national publication in a gown that was partially decorated by her children. How adorable!

The dress was created by Luigi Massi of Versace, but look closely: both the dress itself and the veil are adorned with drawings by Jolie’s six little ones.

Maddox and Pax also walked their mom down the aisle, while Zaharah and Vivienne served as flower girls. Shiloh and Knox? They were ring bearers.

Insiders confirm that the kids also helped their parents write their vows… and Pax baked the cake!

“It was important to use that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” Pitt and Jolie tell People. “It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”

Pitt simply donned a suit from his collection and jeweler Robert Procop designed the couple’s wedding bands.

Only about 22 guests (not including Jolie’s famous dad, Jon Voight) attended the wedding, which was held in a chateau in France.

This special issue of People, replete with many more photos from the big day, goes on sale Wednesday.

Hello! Magazine, meanwhile, worked in conjunction with People on the spread, including its own picture of the newlyweds on its latest cover. Feast your eyes on it here:
