You wouldn’t notice anything different about this restaurant which recently opened in Toronto, Ontario, if you looked in the window from the street.
If you walked inside, however? A very different story, indeed.
The silence, pardon the expression, is deafening … because this eatery has an entirely deaf wait staff. The results are both unexpected and wonderful:
It’s the first restaurant of its kind, but hopefully not the last.
While certainly unusual, you have to admire the people behind the concept, as we could all benefit from improving our understanding of one another.
