Demi Lovato is clean, sober – and has never been happier.
The singer celebrated a milestone over the weekend, Tweeting that she has been off drugs and alcohol now for two years.
“Today is my 2nd birthday. I’m 21 years old, but 2 years ago today, I finally started living…I’m so beyond grateful #ItWorksIfYouWorkIt,” Lovato wrote, adding:
“Why not celebrate with some new piercings? 4 in one sitting.”

Lovato has been admirably outspoken about her views and experiences.
Late last week, she tore into Lady Gaga for glorying eating disorders after that singer vomited on stage.
She has also shown strong support for Kesha, Selena Gomez and other celebrities who have entered rehab for various maladies, both physical and mental.
“I’m so happy!!!!!!! Life is amazing.. You guys are amazing,” Demi also Tweeted Friday night, addressing fans. “I’ve never been happier in my whole life.”
We’re so very glad to hear it.
Lovato has been through a lot and has come out of it an improved person… who loves to change up her hairstyle!
