Amidst reports that there are nude, pregnant portraints of herself out there, Angelina Jolie is set to take her first acting job since the birth of her and Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh Nouvel, on May 27.
The Oscar winner will voice a character in the DreamWorks animated feature Kung Fu Panda. Jolie will portray Tigress, an animal that teaches martial arts to Po the Panda. the voice of Po? Funny man – and new father! – Jack Black.
The movie will be released next May. According to Variety, Po works as a waiter in a noodle shop but needs to build up his strength. That’s where Tigress/Jolie comes. Naturally.
Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Ian McShane and Lucy Liu are also in the cast.
Also, in December Jolie will actually be seen in The Good Shepherd, a CIA drama directed by Robert De Niro and costarring De Niro and Matt Damon. This will be the first starring vehicle for Angelina since Mr. and Mrs. Smith; where, of course, she fell for Pitt.
