Justin Bieber wrote a controversial guest book entry inside the Anne Frank Museum this weekend, thinking back to the iconic figure and determining that she would have been a big fan of his.
But while many Twitter and Facebook users are in an uproar, there’s a rather important source close to the situation that has no problem with the singer saying Frank “would have been a Belieber.”

“His comments were quite innocent,” a museum spokeswoman says in a statement. “He was here for more than hour and interested in Anne Frank’s life and that for us is the most important thing.”
Justin has yet to comment on the scandal, but he has posted new shirtless photos on Instagram. Ogle them now, fans!
