She is never, ever giving back our money.
So argue concert promoters for an August 2012 event titled “Capital Hoedown,” as they have filed a lawsuit against Taylor Swift because the concert was canceled – but they allege Swift kept her check for $2.5 million anyway.
According to legal documents, Taylor received her huge payout up front. And with the ticket company having to refund $1.8 million worth in tickets, promoters want her to cover that cost.
Meaning, yes, she would still make a tidy $700,000 profit.
But Swift’s camp blames the promoters for the concert failure and says Taylor never had a deal of any kind with the ticket company.
In other words: this ain’t our problem or fault.
Stay tuned for updates on this story… and to learn who Taylor Swift is dating next, of course.
