Middleton, of course, is far more focused on another family celebrating a birthday in 2013 – his or her first! She’s pregnant with the heir to the British throne!
Sorry, Kimye. This will be the most anticipated of the year’s celebrity babies.
Today, we celebrate Kate herself. Ever since she began dating William, and especially after 2011’s Royal Wedding, she’s been a fan favorite across the Earth.
We’re certainly fans – how can you not be?
The first commoner to marry an heir to the throne in over a century, the charitable, demure, elegant yet down-to-earth Kate Middleton is a national treasure.
She and William embody everything one would hope the royal family represents, and seem like the perfect standard-bearers for the next generation.
She’s also introduced us to Pippa Middleton, her younger sister. Thank you, Kate! That family definitely is not lacking for good genes, let’s say that.
