Recently, a ridiculous Kanye West video got the internet talking.

No, we’re not talking about the one where West revealed his belief that slavery was a "choice" made by untold millions of black Americans.

And we’re not talking about that weird clip from the Pornhub Awards featuring Kanye and Lil Pump.

(In case you can’t tell, Kanye has been delivering an impressive amount of absolutely bonkers footage lately.)

No, we’re referring to a short video uploaded yesterday, in which Kanye attacked Drake and Nick Cannon over comments that both men made about his wife, Kim Kardashian.

In case you missed it, here’s Kanye at his most batsh-t:

"First of all, I want to address Nick Cannon," Kanye rants.

"I understand that you used to date my wife, but you know, you get into an interview, don’t mention my wife," he adds.

"If someone brings my wife up, say, ‘I respect that man, I’m not speaking on that,’" Kanye demands. "Don’t be making no suggestions — like nobody f–k my wife."

Now, it may seem that Kanye is a little irrationally pissed that one of his wife’s exes mentioned her in an interview.

We don’t blame you jumping to that conclusion, as "irrationally pissed" is Kanye’s default setting.

But in this case, the rapper actually may have had good reason to be upset.

As you may have heard, rumors about Kim cheating on Kanye with Drake have been making their way across the social media landscape recently.

Asked in a recent interview about Kanye’s decision to end the feud between Drake and Pusha T, Cannon suggested that West squashed the beef for fear of what Drake might reveal the truth about his affair with Kim.

"There’s something real personal that Drake holds over that whole family that he’s like, ‘Y’all don’t want me to let this out,’" Nick said.

So we suppose it’s not hard to see why Kanye got a little upset.

Of course, it seems like the kind of thing that he should have handled person-to-person, and he really has no right to tell one public figure what they can and cannot say about another public figure.

Cannon made that latter point in a video addressed to Kanye that he posted on Instagram today:

"I honestly gotta say this, my dude: I’ve never said anything disrespectful or harmful, in my opinion, to your marriage or your union; I salute it, keep it going," Cannon began.

"But you not gonna tell me what I can and what I can’t say."

Cannon went on to explain that he’s guilty of nothing more than answering a question that was posed to him in an honest fashion:

"I’m a solid individual, and if somebody asks me a question, I’m gonna answer it to the best of my ability," the comedian said.

Extending an olive branch, Cannon then invited West to appear on his MTV series Wild N’ Out"

"Come back for that 200th episode," he said.

"We can get to it, ’cause in all seriousness, I got nothing but love for you, but I’m always gonna speak my mind, just like you always speak yours."

As much as he loves publicity, something tells us ‘Ye might be a bit reluctant to accept that invitation.
