Piers Morgan is one of those celebrities who loves to have his name in the news.

Unsurprisingly, that means he’s generally trashing people.

Just days ago, the TV personality was all over Ariana Grande for making her way back to Florida in the wake of the terrorist attack at her Manchester concert which left 22 dead and around 59 injured

Everyone deals with grief in their own way, and Ariana opted to make her way back to her mother’s house to stay out of the public eye and be surrounded by her loved ones.

Like the star tweeted after the attack, she was "broken."

This did not go down well with Piers who hit up Twitter to say, “If the Queen can visit the victims in hospital, so can the star they paid to see."

It’s easy for Piers to say that because it was not his show that many people lost their lives at, so it was a bit rich coming from him.

Ariana did go to the hospital upon her return to the U.K., but Piers seemed to think she was not entitled to a few days to grieve the loss of her fans before making her way back.

Will Piers ever find himself in a similar situation to Ariana? Probably not.

"I expected her to stay, visit & comfort her wounded fans & relatives of those who died,” he later added. Piers has a knack for jumping on viral stories to get some attention.

It’s pretty pathetic.

Ariana is a brave young woman who hit up the stage in Manchester just last night with a benefit concert to raise money for the families of the victims of the terrible atrocity that went on at the close of her show.

It was a star-studded affair, with the likes of Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Little Mix and Katy Perry in attendance at the event.

It was a poignant tribute show, one that was broadcast in as many as fifty countries around the world. Feeling apologetic, Piers took to Twitter last night to apologize to the singing sensation.

"I misjudged you, @ArianaGrande & I apologize," he begins," You’re an admirable young woman & this is a magnificent night. Respect."

It’s a complete 180 from what he was saying just days ago, and the most important thing is that he apologized. It cannot have been easy for Ariana and her team to bring the concert together in just days, but they succeeded.

Piers should stick to chatting with celebrities as opposed to trashing them on Twitter.
