WARNING:
The following story is gruesome and heinous and gross and also really, really, really weird.

It centers on Vikram Chatwal, the Dream Hotel founder and a very good friend of Lindsay Lohan.
He has been arrested by the New York Police Department for allegedly burning two dogs with an aerosol can and lighter.
According to TMZ, Chatwal reportedly walked up to the canines on a Big Apple sidewalk last week outside his apartment, simply dousing them in flames for reasons that remain unknown at this time.
A TMZ cameraman caught up with Chatwal after this alleged act and captured some very strange footage of the hotel founder.
Chatwal seems both confused and apologetic in the video.
A witness says he was wondering on the street when he started yelling things like “the vehicle is compromised,” while also muttering to himself about the “CIA.”
"I’m not crazy, I’m not crazy," Chatwal is heard uttering in the following clip.
We don’t want to judge anyone, but people who are, indeed, sane, typically do not need to tell themselves that they aren’t crazy.
Chatwal was booked on one felony count of criminal mischief — and 3 misdemeanors … torturing an animal, reckless endangerment and arson.
Chatwal’s personal webste was suspended this morning, but a bio page previously featured on the site describes him as the founder of hotels including Dream, Night, Time, Unscripted, and Augustus.
The bio also says that Chatwal is a model, actor and movie producer who has had roles in the movies Zoolander and Spring Breakers.
Here is a photo of Chatwal with Lohan in 2012:

A native of Ethiopia, Chatwal moved to Montreal in the 1970s and then to New York in the 1980s.
He attended the United Nations International School in New York City, as well as the Wharton School of Business; he graduated from the latter in 1994.
He is 44 years old.
And he may have some serious mental issues.
