Farrah Abraham won’t be winning any mother of the year awards any time soon, but to her credit, she spends a an awful lot of time with her daughter.

Granted, most of that time is spent turning Sophia into a the second grade’s biggest earner, but hey – bonding is bonding, right?

Sigh. Give us a break! We’re trying to put a positive spin on Farrah Abraham’s parenting skills here!

That’s no easy feat, and the past two months have it harder than ever to defend this woman.

It all started with the understandable backlash over Sophia’s modeling career.

Clearly, Farrah doesn’t distinguish between good and bad attention, because instead of dialing back her daughter’s social media presence, she went and ramped things up, even going so far as to get Sophia her own Snapchat account.

(Thankfully, that didn’t last long, as admins were quick to boot the 7-year-old off the adults-only service.)

But Sophia was back on social media just days later, promoting her new children’s boutique on Instagram.

Yes, as if it’s not bad enough that Sophia has spent large chunks of her childhood filming a show that’s largely about what a nightmare her mother is, she now runs a small business.

No word on whether or not she finds time to swing by school despite all her professional responsibilities.

But hey, who needs school when you’ve got a famous mom, right?

Sure, Farrah will probably be about as famous as Heidi Montag by the time Sophia’s in her teens, but while the rest of those kids and learning to add and subtract, Sophia’s learning to stack funds, fam!

Asked about Sophia’s high-end kids’ store during a recent event, Farrah gave one of her usual facepalm-inducing responses:

"I’m very blessed and lucky to have this opportunity with my daughter," the Teen Mom star told In Touch.

"I let her have her input, and i think more children should have an input on things. It should be fun and why not make money when you’re seven years old?

"I mean, she’s been making money since she popped out!"

Yes, "she’s been making money since she popped out" struck Farrah is a great compliment for her seven-year-old daughter.

Is it as bad as the time she talked about Sophia’s future porn career?

No, but that’s setting the bar pretty damn low, don’t ya think?
