As you probably know, Scott Disick is in a pretty sorry state these days.
Not only was Scott dumped by Kourtney Kardashian – his companion of nearly a decade and the mother of his three children – but sources say her family is launching a full-on assault in hopes of ruining the Lord’s career and personal life.
Insiders claim that Kourtney has boasted about her plans to "leave Scott broke" as revenge for his alleged infidelity and negligent parenting.
There may be a cruel irony to that plan, however, as friends of Scott’s tell Radar Online that Kris Jenner is responsible for the fragile emotional state that led to his bad behavior.
“Kris is the main person who put Scott in the situation he is in today,” says one source.
The anonymous friend says the problems between Scott and Kris began shortly after Disick’s parents died within three months of one another last year.
Kris was reportedly insistent that Scott maintain his usual schedule of public appearances and reality show filming, thus leaving the father of three to feel that he could only cope at night, through drinking and non-stop partying.
“When his parents died, Kris offered no support for him as a family,” says the friend. “It was business as usual, so he didn’t get to grieve at all.
“Kris and the family also kept him away from his friends, so they weren’t ever able to be there for him like they wanted."
The friend concedes that Scott is at least partially to blame for his current state, but adds that Disick’s inner circle burns with rage whenever they see evidence of his continuing downward spiral.
“Scott’s in a bad place right now,” the source admits. “He’s a mess and been on a really bad binge.“
