Over the weekend, Amy Duggar married Dillon King in a ceremony attended by several of her famous cousins.
Not surprisingly, Josh Duggar was not in attendance, and there’s still no word on his whereabouts.
It was initially reported that Josh was in rehab in Illinois, but now, several sources are claiming that Josh has gone missing from the faith-based treatment center where he was reportedly dropped off by his family.
One theory is that Josh sought out a less intensive form of rehab (the facility he was staying in requires residents to put in 10 hours of manual labor a day).
Some sources say the Duggars are pleased that Josh has agreed to seek treatment, but according to a new report from Entertainment Tonight, the disgraced 27-year-old is simply going through the motions in order to appease his wife and domineering parents.
Shockingly, one insider says Josh still doesn’t believe that he did anything wrong.
"No remorse," the source says. "He is not the person everyone thought they knew."
The insider says Josh joked about the molestation allegations against him when they first came to light earlier this year.
He also claims that Josh showed no concerns about the revelation that he was unfaithful to Anna Duggar, as he assumed that his subservient wife would never leave him. Sadly, it seems he was right.
"Anna didn’t check up on Josh because she trusted him," the source says. "When she found out about the cheating, she just cried."
The Duggars have have not issued an official statement about Josh or his whereabouts since he first checked into rehab over two weeks ago.
