Caitlyn Jenner embarked on a road trip Sunday night on I Am Cait Season 1 Episode 2. Who tagged along and what adventures awaited them?

When you watch I Am Cait online, you’ll see that as well as many of the lighter scenes that have been teased online over the past week.

Namely, Caitlyn feeling a bit insecure about her voice and calling on Kim Kardashian and Malika Haqq to help her sound more feminine.

It’s legitimately funny, and Jenner takes their role playing in stride, while admitting she would consider vocal therapy, even surgery.

Then it’s time for girls night – one only for trans women.

Among the attendees: Candis Cayne, GLAAD National Board Chair Jennifer Boylan and others, all of whom we learn more about.

Then the show gets real. Boylan tells the cameras, “Caitlyn is a sweet smart good soul, but she has all the privilege in the world.”

Candis Cayne experienced medical discrimination. Drian Juarez was a sex worker to get through her transition. The stories go on.

Upon hearing this, Caitlyn realizes more than ever that she does not represent or even relate to these people on many levels.

Yes, she has done great things with this new platform (even Kanye West is inspired) but she is also uniquely rich and privileged.

As Caitlyn touched on in her interview with Diane Sawyer, she leans politically conservative, or at least she has for 65 years.

Discrimination and joblessness in the transgender community is an issue her friends discuss – and debate her political views on.

The tension is real, underscoring the challenges of representing the transgender community as a figure unlike so many in it.

In a totally unscripted turn of events, Cait decides a road trip with her new friends to the Human Rights Campaign must happen.

The wine flows, and jokes are a dime a dozen, and there’s even a hot tub … though Jenner gets nervous at that choice of activity.

Unlike these women who have been out for years, “I just don’t know if I’m ready to expose myself like that,” the star laments.

At the HRC, Caitlyn is anxious. She is nervous. As a white, wealthy trans woman, she feels like even more of a fish out of water.

Everyone she meets treats her with respect, but by driving home this point with brutal honesty. And it looks like there’s more to come.

The final shot of the episode is "To Be Continued." Only two episodes in and I Am Cait is already delivering cliffhangers …
