Simply. Stunning.
Those two words sum up the cover of the September 2015 issue of Vogue, which features the incomparable Beyonce gracing the front of this iconic fashion magazine for the third time.
Alongside a tease that reads "Just B. Beyonce and the Art of Global Domination,” the artist swings a sparkly purple blazer over one shoulder while resting her hand on a chair.
The mother of one also stares down the lens with her typical ferocity and rocks a tousled wet hairstyle.
While no excerpts from Beyonce herself have hit the Internet yet, the cover story includes many words of praise from others in the fashion industry.
“The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality,” says designer Marc Jacobs.
Adds Riccardo Tisci: “There is a magnetic presence to her.”
And what about you, Stella McCartney?
“She’s the whole package: primal, rare, delicate, beautiful, and powerful. Her appeal crosses art forms, genders, and generations.”
Beyonce has remained mostly out of the spotlight until now, most recently honoring the victims of the Charleston shooting and gawking at LeBron’s penis.
We love her.
