On The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Episode 7, Vicki Gunvalson tried to get ahold of her dead mother … yes, seriously.
After breaking down at the loss her closest confidant, Vicki proved last night that she is not ready to let go of the woman who gave her life.
As a result, The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Episode 7 saw her seek the help of a medium (really) to reach out to her.
Medium Tim Braun came to perform a seance with Gunvalson, her brother Billy, Brooks Ayers, Tamra Barney and Shannon Beador.
Said Vicki of this seemingly ridiculous, contrived storyline:
"If it gives me a sense of peace, what’s it going to hurt? My brother Billy is not doing well … [he and my mom] lived five minutes apart."
Fair enough. The medium began by telling a relieved Gunvalson and her brother their mother experienced "no pain" when she passed.
"There was nothing you could do to stop this," he told them.
Vicki was amazed by his knowledge of her late mother’s dental work, but not everyone was buying what Tim was selling up in here.
"Guy had nothin’," said Tamra, who interrupted to ask a question, only to be promptly shut down and told to stop "interfering."
After he told Vicki’s brother his bowels were blocked (really), Tamra joked, "Somebody’s full of s–t here, but I’m not sure it’s Billy."
Later, the wives did something more normal and went bowling.
"I wish Gucci would make bowling shoes," Gunvalson lamented at the alley. "Whoever’s making them now is doing a very bad job."
She then appeared to forget, briefly, that her mom passed.
After saying "my mom will babysit" her daughter Briana’s kids so they can spend time together, people were a little taken aback.
"I forgot my mom died," a stunned Vicki said. "I’ve been leaving her phone messages. To me, she’s still alive … my heart is hurting."
It was even weirder than we’re making it sound, trust us.
Elsewhere, when you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online, you’ll see several of the women struggling with exercise.
Shannon found out that losing weight meant more than just exercise, as other emotions and events in her life required attention, too.
Meanwhile, Tamra and Eddie struggled to work together at the gym, and Meghan attempted to teach her stepdaughter responsibility.
Finally Heather Dubrow was eager to begin a new project with Terry, but what did that entail exactly, and did it work out as planned?
