Kylie Jenner is reportedly really struggling with Caitlyn Jenner’s transition, especially in light of this week’s ESPY Awards speech and spectacle.
It’s been a month and a half since the Caitlyn Jenner Vanity Fair photos broke new ground and established her as a new kind of national hero.
Although her entire family has come to terms with it, and universally supports Caitlyn, Kylie Jenner is struggling with the change the most.
At the ESPYs, the 17-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star as solemn, and not just because Caitlyn’s speech was moving.
Sources say she is "barely coping" and having a hard time with things.
A close source adds, “Kylie has not been taking this whole thing well at all and cannot come to terms with the fact that her father is now Caitlyn.”
“She used to be daddy’s girl but ever since her dad transitioned, Caitlyn does not seem to have the same time for Kylie that Bruce once did.”
“She feels incredibly alone lately and is barely coping."
“It bothers her a lot and last night while everyone in the family was crying tears of joy," the source sadly notes, "her tears were of sorrow.”
As Kylie’s older sisters Kendall Jenner, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian helped Caitlyn get ready for the event, Kylie was a no-show.
We believe it. Seventeen is just so young.
Kendall’s right when she says that she has a modeling career to focus on now, which has helped get her through this difficult period.
Kylie, meanwhile, is just being Kylie.
Left to her own devices, and with little parental guidance from Kris Jenner, it’s understandable that she’s struggling more than most.
We know Caitlyn cares deeply for her though. Here’s hoping the two find more time to spend together and strengthen their bond.
