The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Episode 3 took us to Napa, where Tamra Barney found someone, or something, most unexpected.
The occasion for the trip to wine country? The launch of Heather Dubrow’s new sparkling wine, named Collette (after one of her daughters).
"I love my bubbles," said Heather of her new career pursuit, though she admits, "I’m not expecting to put my children through college off it."
Somehow we think husband Terry has that covered. The couple’s new mansion construction, which she touched on, is not exactly cheap.
"The cabinets are $135,000 over budget," Dubrow told her man on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Episode 3.
"How much is the budget?" Terry asked her.
She estimated (of only the cabinets in the house mind you), "$450,000 to $500,000, and we’re at $630,000. I’ve tried to stay on budget."
"I was hoping to save the overages for the movie theater, which could go up to a million," Terry responded, but hey, "It is what it is."
Moving on to people with real problems …
Shannon Beador’s marriage to David has been through some serious ups and downs, and his affair continues to leave them on the brink.
"It’s the memories that are a lot of our dark moments," said Shannon, upset at David for stopping and doing sake shots en route to Napa.
When you’re dealing with issues like Shannon and David Beador are, it’s hard to look past them, even during events that seem harmless.
Meanwhile, Tamra Judge found Jesus.
Seriously. You’re going to have to watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online to truly appreciate the miraculousness of this.
"I found Jesus," Judge told the wives.
"I know what people will think … she’s done so many bad things and needs to look good … but I’m going through this journey with me and the Lord."
"It’s just the two of us."
That doesn’t mean she’s not the same, dirty-minded, always-quotable Tamra at heart, as she showed tasting wine with Meghan King Edmonds.
With the help of a "phallic dispenser," Tamra and Meghan – her "mini-me, even if she’s 15 inches taller" – tasted wine straight from the barrels.
"You know it tastes better when you suck it out of the cylinder," said Judge to the new RHOC cast member. "Suck it from the tip! Don’t slip!"
Amen.
