Taylor Swift and her cats are back in the news. For the sweetest of reasons.
A few days after Swift introduced Olivia Benson (the cat) to Olivia Benson (the actress behind the Law & Order: SVU character), the artist has posted a new photo to Twitter of her and her feline.
And she included with it a sad caption.
"At the airport about to leave for Europe, listening to ‘See You Again’ and thinking about how much I’ll miss my cats," Swift wrote along with this picture.
And this goes a long way to explaining why we love Taylor Swift, doesn’t it?
Yes, the singer is funny, such as when she explains why she has to sometimes hike backward.
And, yes, the singer is a role model to her fans, actually paying off one young woman’s student loans and making her cry tears of joy.
At the end of the day, however, Swift is simply relatable. She’s just like me and you.
Taylor is embarking on a European tour that will make her millions and result in the endless adoration of countless concert goers… yet all she can think of in this moment is how much she’ll miss her cat.
Man, we love Taylor Swift.
