On Monday, we told you about Mariah Carey’s new billionaire boyfriend, James Packer.
It seems that for Father’s Day, Mariah dropped the kids off at Nick Cannon’s and spent the weekend sampling Packer’s sizable collection of yachts. (Yes, the dude has a collection of yachts. It’s good to be a billonaire.)
Though they’ve been partying together for just a few days, TMZ reports that Mariah and James are already talking marriage.
Apparently, James broached the subject, and Mariah was surprisingly open to it. Sources say they celebrated by blaring Mariah’s music as they sailed from one island to the next.
The very new couple may even be planning to tying the knot as soon as Mariah’s divorce from Nick is finalized, which could happen sometime this summer.
Those who know James best are reportedly not surprised by how fast the couple is moving.
They say James is full-blown "obsessed" with Mariah and her music. He apparently went to one of her concerts about six weeks and has been relentlessly pursuing her ever since.
This would be the third marriage for Mariah, so hopefully she’s being a little more cautious with James.
We know it’s hard to turn down a dude on a yacht, but one weekend of partying does not an engagement make.
