If you watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians online, then you know the most fun part of the show is trying to figure out what’s real (very little) and what’s been scripted and acted out for the sake of the E! camera crews (pretty much everything).

While Caitlyn Jenner’s coming out was obviously a courageous and intensely personal moment for the former Olympian, her family naturally felt the need to try and cash in on the public’s interest…even if it meant staging some very obviously fake drama.

Radar Online is now reporting that Kourtney Kardashian was caught lying about her family’s reaction to Caitlyn’s transition on the most recent episode of KUWTK.

A scene in Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 10 Episode 13 showed Kourtney encouraging her sisters to attend therapy sessions in order to help them cope with the media firestorm surrounding the announcement Caitlyn’s transition.

The problem is, the episode was filmed in November of 2014 – a full five months before Caitlyn went public in her interview with Diane Sawyer.

According to previous statements from the girls and the show’s own timeline of events, Caitlyn told the girls about her transition in January of this year, so…yeah, busted.

Of course, this should in now way detract from the awesomeness of Caitlyn’s big debut, it’s just another indication that nothing is ever quite what it seems in Kardashian Land.
