From the time that she first went public with her desire to live as a woman, Caitlyn Jenner has been an icon of the LGBT community, but a unique one.
She’s been careful to point out that her own experience has been very different from the difficulties endured by most transgender men and women.
Caitlyn’s transition has certainly been much more public than most, but she’s also incredibly well-off and able to afford some wildly expensive procedures.
How expensive are we talking about?!
We still don’t know exactly how many times Caitlyn, the stunning woman formerly known as Bruce Jenner, has gone under the knife, or for what.
Those revelations will likely be reserved for her "docuseries," I Am Cait, but we do have an idea of just how much the former Olympian has spent to date.
Radar is reporting that Caitlyn spent $4 million on surgical procedures in order to achieve the look she flaunts in that already-iconic Vanity Fair pictorial.
Again, there’s no telling where exactly that money went, but the price tag seems to indicate that Caitlyn’s transition is now complete or close to it.
We all know that Jenner got breast implants in March and she’s discussed other, more subtle changes in interviews and on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
A recent episode featured Caitlyn discussing her "facial feminization" which involved crafting more delicate features and the reduction of her Adam’s apple.
It’s certainly a lot of cash, but we’re sure Caitlyn will be all right. She was already loaded, and she might soon be the wealthiest reality star on TV.
