After a night in which the The Voice top 10 performed and sang for their lives, it was very difficult to handicap who would be sent packing on the results show.

Did America have another shocker in store after one-time frontrunner Mia Z was cut loose last week? With eight spots up for grabs, two dreams were dashed.

Who’s out and who’s moving on? Read on for The Voice results …

The first four singers safe and moving on to the Top 8:

  1. Koryn Hawthorne (Team Pharrell)
  2. Corey Kent White (Team Blake)
  3. India Carney (Team Christina)
  4. Sawyer Fredericks (Team Pharrell)

No big surprises amongst those four. After a performance by Reba, returning from last week’s role as advisor to sing live, two more singers were saved:

  1. Meghan Linsey (Team Blake)
  2. Kimberly Nichole (Team Christina)

Ouch for Team Adam, who is still without a surviving artist as his team performs. Following that live effort, another artist is given a pass into next week:

  1. Hannah Kirby (Team Blake)

As such, singing for the hashtag instantsave were …

  1. Rob Taylor, with a version of "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay."
  2. Deanna Johnson, on "Help Me Make it Through the Night."
  3. Joshua Davis, on the classic "I Won’t Back Down."

The artist who received the Instant Save and the Twitter life raft carrying him or her into the Top 8 performance show on next Monday’s episode of The Voice?

  1. Joshua Davis (Team Adam)

It’s the end of the line for Rob Taylor, of Team Christina, and Deanna Johnson, of Team Adam, who were eliminated on The Voice results show.

The Top 8 of The Voice Season 8, one last time …

  1. Kimberly Nichole
  2. Sawyer Fredericks
  3. Meghan Linsey
  4. Joshua Davis
  5. India Carney
  6. Hannah Kirby
  7. Koryn Hawthorne
