The Voice is down to its Top 10 singers here in Season 8, and they left it all out on the floor Monday, hoping not to be another surprising casualty like last week.

When The Voice results were unveiled and Mia Z was sent home, a warning shot was effectively fired off by NBC viewers to the remaining ten contenders:

Bring your A game or pack your bags!

Okay, maybe it wasn’t that dramatic, but the message was clear and the margin of error slim to none as the singers prepped to do their thing Monday.

Let’s see how they did, shall we?!

Kimberly Nichole (Team Christina): Performing “Something’s Got a Hold on Me” by Etta James, and with the aid of Mark Ronson, she set the tone for the night.

One of the best performers on the show this season, with the technical merit and ability to match, she has a legit shot to be named The Voice next month.

Joshua Davis (Team Adam): Proving once again he is a consistently strong singer, he belted out “Hold Back the River” in solid fashion. Will it be enough?

Hannah Kirby (Team Blake): After some initial pushback from her mentor, she put her all into the ’80s hit “Shout” by Tears For Fears, and we mean ALL.

Her performance was almost theatrical at times, and maybe too much so, but it showcased her originality and won’t be forgotten, so it’s got that going for it.

Meghan Linsey (Team Blake): Following up Kirby was Meghan on “Home” by Marc Broussard, and what followed was one of the evening’s top efforts.

Slowing building up momentum and gaining strength with each week, Linsey may be a contender to make the final episode if not win the whole thing.

Koryn Hawthorne (Team Pharrell): She tried to “Make It Rain” by Ed Sheeran, one of the most covered singers on The Voice and American Idol lately.

It’s easy to see why, as Ed’s songs lend themselves to this kind of personal, deep, unique interpretation Koryn delivered to impress all four of the coaches.

Deanna Johnson (Team Adam): The coaches weren’t sure what to make of her cover of “Somebody to Love," and we’ll see if America was tonight.

Last week’s Instant Save winner may be hard pressed to pull off another reprieve, but you never know who’s going to connect and who’s not at this stage.

Rob Taylor (Team Christina): His take on “A Song for You” by Donny Hathaway showed off his impressive range, not to mention powerful stage presence.

Between Kimberly, India and Rob, Aguilera has a trio of bona fides on her roster, and we’d be shocked if both didn’t sail through to the final eight Tuesday.

Corey Kent White (Team Blake): Covering “Unwound” by George Strait with a rock edge, he was better than serviceable, but will the voters keep him?

Sawyer Fredericks (Team Adam): His take on “Iris” was engaging and technically proficient, but it remains to be seen how far that can carry him here.

India Carney (Team Christina): Proving why she is yet another Aguilera all-star, her cover of “Run to You” by Whitney Houston was beautiful. The end.

The top eight will be announced this evening on The Voice results show. Who do you hope to see advance, and who do you think will be going home?
