Be warned, Teen Wolf fans:
The rules are about to change.
Last night, during a commercial break on the MTV Movie Awards, viewers were treated to the first official promo for Teen Wolf Season 5.
It’s only 20 seconds in length, but those 20 seconds give us a look the full pack – Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Malia and Liam – bracing for the arrival of a dangerous new enemy, one that seems to have an affinity for torture.
Really, though, let’s face it: What else is new?
Teen Wolf Season 5 is "very much about our teenagers becoming adults and heading into their senior year,” executive producer Jeff Davis recently told TV Line awhile back, adding:
"But as always, we bring in some new mysteries and new monsters. I think this season is very much about the line between science and supernatural."
It was also announced, meanwhile, that Tyler Hoechlin will not return as a series regular this year, but Davis insists that "we have not seen the last of Derek Hale."
MTV is yet to announce a premiere date for Teen Wolf Season 5, but it will be comprised of 20 episodes.
