Yes, folks, Victoria Grayson really is dead and gone.
But that didn’t mean she didn’t make her presence strongly felt on Revenge Season 4 Episode 21.
Via a very incriminating (and highly faked) break-in scene at her home, Victoria prompted the very astute Louise to remark:
"This wasn’t a suicide at all. This was murder!"
As you might expect, both Clarke family members were called in for questioning, during which quite a few secrets finally spilled out. To wit:
- Amanda discovered that her dad has cancer.
- Jack learned he “won” the battle for Amanda.
- She told Ben that Mason Treadwell is still alive because he is, ironically after all this time, the only person who can corroborate her airport alibi.
However, the most damning secret was saved for last: Victoria and Mason were working together to frame Amanda for homicide, the details of which were revealed in a posthumous message from Victoria herself.
Cue an appearance by Detective Ben, who showed up with handcuffs and arrested his former crush.
Go ahead and watch Revenge online to view Victoria’s message for yourself and consider the other key developments from this installment:
- Nolan managed to begin a healthy, romantic, stress-free relationship with Tony. At first.
- Tony then broke up with Nolan upon learning that he’ll soon be adopting a child.
- To open the episode, Jack was happily chilling in Los Angeles. But his connection to Amanda lured him back to the scene of the (alleged) crime.
- He initially told Amanda off and by the time he arrived at her house to make things right, she had already been taken into custody. D’oh!
How will she wiggle her way out of it? That’s the question we have heading into next week’s hour and then the Revenge Season 4 finale on May 10.
