You tell ’em, Kristi Gordon!
The meteorologist, who works for Global BC in Vancouver, is expecting her second child in July.
She announced this exciting news in January, confessing at the time that she was afraid of receiving the same sort of negative comments that strangers sent her way regarding maternity wear the first time around.
And, sadly, Gordon was spot on.
This time, however, Gordon decided to do something about it.
In a segment that’s gone viral, she read aloud some of the hate mail she’s received online, hoping to embarrass a few critics who strongly deserve some embarrassment.
“Nowhere on North America TV have we seen a weather reader so gross as you,” read one critique. “Your front end looks like the Hindenburg and your rear end looks like a brick (expletive) house.”
Wrote another viewers/terrible human being:
"BUY some DECENT clothes and have more respect for the unborn child, you’re not the first pregnant woman. OMG."
Gordon’s colleagues stood by their co-worker, with one quoting Taylor Swift and simply saying: "Haters gonna hate."
Gordon, meanwhile, is the second mom to go viral for admirable reasons over the past few weeks.
Rachel Hollis, who has three children, proudly displayed her stretch-marked bikini body last month and received an outpouring of positive feedback for doing so.
