As has been made clear over the past several weeks, Madonna has no trouble talking about lame Fifty Shades of Grey sex, Kanye West and/or Internet trolls.

But the artist has a lot of trouble getting up in front of an audience and telling jokes, as was made evident yesterday on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Fulfilling a life-long goal of acting as a stand-up comedian, Madonna was given an unexpected platform on the program, making quips about dating younger men and proving one thing once and for all:

She really should not quit her day job.

Madonna is much better at music, as was also made evident when she got together with Fallon and The Roots to perform a very cool rendition of "Holiday."

Similar to what they did with Carly Rae Jepsen in 2012, Fallon and company used only classroom instruments on this version of the Material Girl classic:

It’s difficult to choose the best part: Madonna chiming in with her tiny gold whistle? The dudes on the right shaking plastic fruit?

Watch, decide for yourself and then check out some other memorable segments in Jimmy Fallon history. He’s given us quite a few!
