It’s only been two months since Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married at Depp’s West Hollywood home, but it seems things are already getting weird.
And not in the fun, Tim Burton-y way that you’d expect marriage with Johnny Depp to be weird.
Speculation about trouble in Depp’s personal life began when he gave a drunk speech at the Hollywood Film Awards in November, and continued when he missed a recent press conference and claimed to have been fighting a mythical beast.
Now it seems that Amber may have been the only one who didn’t get the memo that things are a little off with Johnny these days.
Sources say she was shocked – SHOCKED! – to learn that her 51-year-old husband has a bit of a drinking problem, and she’s ready to part ways with Depp.
"They’re barely talking," a source tells In Touch. "Amber is constantly worried about him. He’ll go days without calling or texting her."
The tabloid says Depp’s drinking and "broken promises that he’s going to stop" have been the main causes of his marital troubles.
"He parties and it causes huge fights with Amber," says the insider. "It’s been hard for them."
Depp is currently on location in Australia, filming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. A recent report from the set stated that Johnny broke his wrist in a go-carting accident.
We’re guessing Amber didn’t take that as a sign that things have changed.
