As documented just a few hours ago, not all prom invites go according to plan.
Sometimes a guy asked a girl to this momentous event and gets shot down in humiliating fashion.
Other times, however, circumstances align perfectly… everything comes together… and you end up with a heartwarming piece of footage such as this:
Featuring seemingly every student at Maryland’s Glenelg High School, the video was the brainchild of a young woman named Maisy.
She recruited a number of her fellow seniors to gather in the gymnasium in honor of James, a boy with Down Syndrome.
Once he arrived, the students encouraged James to take center stage in a dance circle, cheering him when Maisy appeared and surprised the unsuspecting student with a sign that read: "James PROM?"
James accepted. The two hugged. And tears flew out of our eyeballs.
