Rihanna has been famous for so long now that many have forgotten she got her start after auditioning for then-Def Jam president, Jay Z.
In the years since, Hov has remained an instrumental figure in her career, even when he limits his involvement to advice and behind-the-scenes studio assistance.
There have been rumors of a Jay Z-Rihanna affair in the past, but no one really took them seriously aside from a handful of particularly trashy tabloids.
Now, a few more people are thinking there may be something to the Jayhanna reports thanks to a claim made by a random UK-based celebrity gossip site.
“Jay has several phones, one of which he keeps reserved for Rihanna, supposedly to discuss business interests,” one “insider” claims. “It’s obvious when she calls because he’ll interrupt business meetings, even walk away from the dinner table to speak with her.
“Beyonce has always been aware that he has several different numbers, but when she discovered Rihanna has a hotline to her husband, she was livid. She absolutely hates how close they are but feels powerless to stop it.”
Is it possible that Jay has a phone that’s reserved for RiRi? Sure. Does Beyonce give a damn? We doubt it.
We’re sure she’s aware that most of their conversations consist of Jay telling Rihanna to stop smoking weed and being naked all the time.
