Goodbye, Oliver Queen. Hello, Al Sah-Him.
On Arrow Season 3 Episode 21, fans officially met the “something else” Oliver has become, as our former hero acted as anything but during the hour.
While Oliver was receiving a tour of Ra’s’ decimated former home, we witnessed the deep bond shared between Laurel and Nyssa, the latter of whom has been training the former.
As a result, Laurel took major issue with the Oliver-led League’s plot to storm her city and bring Nyssa back to Nanda Parbat… for execution.
Appropriately, it ended up being Laurel’s Cisco-modified Canary Cry that interrupted Oliver’s first attack on Nyssa, which took place on the same rooftop where Sara herself was killed.
As for Thea, she felt quite guilt that Oliver was forced down this path because of her, vowing to do whatever she can to save him.
To that end, concluding an epic melee that featured Diggle, Lyla and Canary against Oliver and his henchmen, Thea put a speedy end to Oliver’s imminent slaying of Dig. How so?
By shooting an arrow through her sibling’s arm.
But Nyssa was dragged away and brought back to Nanda Parbat. For what purpose?
You may need to watch Arrow online to believe it, as Ra’s stopped Oliver mid-sword thrust and decides there’s actually a better use for his daughter’s blood: she should be the bride to the demon. She should marry Oliver!
And then for another bombshell: As Oliver’s final rite of passage, he was to follow his nuptials by unleashing Alpha Omega bioweapon on Starling City.
Ummm… GULP? Where the heck will things go from here? Check out the official CW teaser for Arrow Season 3 Episode 22, "This is Your Sword," to find out:
