Becca Tilley is still handling her rejection on The Bachelor rejection like a classy champ, which is pretty much what we saw on Monday’s season finale.
She thought she might be falling in love ahead of The Bachelor finale, but Whitney Bischoff was ready to make babies – and not just in the fertility lab.
Not surprisingly, Whitney got a ring and a rose from Chris Soules, while Becca Tilley was gifted the long, lonely limo ride to the nearest Iowa airport.
On Tuesday, the 25-year-old, virginal chiropractic assistant from San Diego reflected on her "crazy ride" on The Bachelor in a heartfelt Instagram post.
"I’ve been asked: ‘why did you go on this show?’ Why not? I had the time of my life," Tilley said, in response to criticism that she wasn’t ready for love.
"Met some amazing girls who will be in my life forever and met an amazing guy who showed me that there are good guys out there," Becca reflects.
By that, she means, "The kind who are patient and genuine."
"Did i fall in love? No, but how would I have known that would be the outcome?" Becca continued. "Sometimes you have to try things and see what happens!"
"I love @whitb624 [Whitney Bischoff, Chris Soules’ now fiancée] so much and could not be happier for the two of them. Thanks for the [heart]! #thebachelor"
Pretty positive attitude, just like on The Bachelor finale.
For his part, Soules had nothing but good things to say about Becca, but believed she is just "in a different place in her life compared to where I am."
"That doesn’t make it a bad thing, and it didn’t change how I felt about her, but it’s about trying to find the person that you can see in your life," Chris added.
"That you have the best chance of making it work forever with. My sister said, ‘You’re not looking for a girlfriend, you’re looking for a wife.’ That’s the truth."
And in Whitney, Chris gushed, he found "my soulmate."
