Who stood out on American Idol Wednesday night? Who was voted out on American Idol Wednesday night?
We’ll answer the second question first, as one-third of the Top 12 saw their dreams shattered on live television.
We’re very sorry, Michael Simeon, Riley Bria, Savion Wright and Trevor Douglas. But impressive run nonetheless, fellas!
Did America make the right choice? Did the remaining eight contestants do viewers proud with their takes on classic tracks by Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and other R&B artists?
Rayvon Owen covered “My Girl” and ended his version of this Motown favorite with a strong final falsetto run.
Daniel Seavey, only 15 years old, didn’t seem very natural while dancing around to “How Sweet It Is.”
Mark Andrew nearly caused us to fall into a coma with his take on “Papa Was a Rolling Stone.” But it was in tune!
Adam Ezegelian at least put a unique rock twist on The Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back.”
And Clark Beckham took some risks with the arrangement on “The Tracks of My Tears.”
Nick Fradiani hoped to be “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” as your Season 14 champion, while Qaasim Middleton worked very hard to entertain the audience on Wonder’s “I Wish.”
Finally, Quentin Alexander likely put on the night’s strongest performed with his take on “Master Blaster,” showing off a very smooth voice. Could anyone else see him guest-starring on Empire Season 1?
Check out below who remains and then sound off: Who put on the best performance? Who did NOT deserve to be sent home?
